In this episode I talk about:
  • The uncomfortable truth that we might not always think the best of the people who we want to invest in our services, especially if we find ourselves saying things like “there’s no point offering that, no-one will commit!”
  • How Amy Porterfield helped me notice the difference between ‘it’s tough but possible’ and ‘look you probably won’t make it’ when it comes to the vibe and energy you show up with in your marketing.
  • A pretty nasty incident at a networking event with an estate agent which made me realise just how damaging it is if you think your target customers are making bad decisions and don’t get your value or profession.
  • How thinking the very best of the people we want to attract is related to the clarity we have on who our ideal customers really are, because freebie seekers and flaky non-committal clients are not who we want in our world (remember to listen to episode 69 on “how to attract clients that say hell yes” for more on this topic)
